Wow it’s been such a while since my last post. This Summer has been blowing by! Well I’m keeping busy as you may have guessed and always trying something new… which brings me to this: PURE Skin Care AHA/BHA Lipo Serum. I know, way technical name there but don’t be afraid girls. A local esthetician friend of mine has a line of fantastic products that I had to check out. Because I regularly exfoliate as needed and always worried about irritation, I asked about protecting my “good” skin.

The PURE Skin Lipo Serum is a clear lotion, fragrance free and comes in a 1 oz. pump dispenser (you know how much that is important to me because of contaminants!). 1 pump applied to the face and let it dry. That’s it. Then moisturize as you would normally.

It contains antioxidants- vitamins a, B5, C and E. All to help strengthen skin cells to fight against aging (free radical damage) and moisturizer which plumps up the skin by increasing moisture uptake. Sodium Hyaluronate- known as a moisture binding ingredient able to hold up to 180 times its weight in water.

Back in the saddle with a desk full of product just waiting to be opened and what did I choose as my first review? Good In Bed skin restoring night moisturizer by Prescriptives leaves you with the “morning after” glow. Of course I was drawn to this product by its risque name and was completely “satisfied” with the results. It is simply a multi purpose, luxurious treatment. The nourishing emollient helps replenish skin while subtle tanners work to enhance your natural colors. The scent is pleasant and my skin felt completely soft and moisturized in the morning. After a few days use I found I was using less makeup because my face was slightly tanned with a very natural look. A great product with great results. Hey with a very little effort you could be Good in Bed too!

Well this is the end of the road. Any day now we expect him to arrive. It’s been a great pregnancy and thanks for all the positive wishes and patience while we’re in the home stretch here. Wow it’s been a pretty hectic week moving into the busy season. Weddings, graduations, proms. They are all booking now so head’s up! This all in one skin treatment from Elizabeth Arden works wonders after a few applications. A few years back I suffered a very bad sunburn and immediately saw the effects. Then came a sample of Prevage and after day two I was sold. Sometimes we need to help our skin regenerate itself for the sake of beauty and comfort. Instead of using a plain old pumice store why not try something a bit more trendy? Designed to mirror the contours of the body (certainly not mine but that’s what they say) the Revlon Pumice Stone happens to be very comfortable to use. I added one of these to an order not long ago and thought it would be good to use in the shower. Unlike traditional stones this one you can actually hold firm in a hot shower without exfoliating your palm. It was easy to use on my knees and feet as well as my elbows. I lightly rubbed it over the intended areas and it did exactly what it was supposed to with little effort. The handle is coated with a non-slip rubber like material and I must say it’s a great buy for a few bucks.
